In-School Enrichment Program Details

Our hands-on business simulation course models teaching techniques from the nation’s top business programs where students work with a team as a mock company over several sessions.

Each session begins with a real-life business case study, and then the companies face a challenge which leads them to make strategic choices, put plans into action, and analyze the results of their decisions. Students experience a variety of roles in finance, production, sales, and marketing, while developing teamwork and leadership skills.

Grade Levels & Class Size

  • Designed for grades 4 - 8

  • Up to 24 kids per classroom, with mock companies of 5 - 7 students each

Timeline

  • Meet weekly or daily for 3 - 10 sessions

  • 60 - 90 minutes sessions, depending on class schedule

Curriculum

  • In-person instruction provided by Mind Your Business founders

  • Designed to encompass financial literacy standards, STEM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and SEL (Social Emotional Learning)

  • Course content can be customized to emphasize math curriculum concepts or digital learning tools.

  • All course materials, including worksheets, provided by Mind Your Business

Program Cost

  • Pricing is commensurate with other enrichment program rates

  • Total cost is determined by number of classrooms and sessions

  • Introductory discounts or pilot pricing for one classroom available
